Crime Watch Global says information received through its tip channels during the middle of 2026 was passed to law-enforcement agencies. We have not independently established that the tips directly caused this traffic stop or arrest; the connection remains a Crime Watch Global account rather than a confirmed finding by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the supplied account attributed to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop around midnight on a Sunday near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North Forbes Road in Hillsborough County, Florida.

During the stop, deputies encountered Martha Gut, 58, and Ronald Gauley, 46. HCSO says officers searched the vehicle and found a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, bags believed to be for distribution, two scales, a ledger, a glass bong, marijuana, and $918 in cash.

The supplied report says Ms. Gut told deputies that the narcotics belonged to her. HCSO says she was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a convenience store, one count of trafficking in methamphetamine over 200 grams, and additional offenses. The full charging document and the complete status of Mr. Gauley were not supplied.

The supplied material describes accusations and an arrest, not a conviction. Martha Gut and Ronald Gauley are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The evidence, charges, and any later court outcome must be determined through the legal process.
