Europol says Brazilian authorities, supported by Italian law enforcement and a Europol expert, arrested seven Italian and Brazilian nationals during Operation EREDITÀ.

Officers searched five homes and two commercial premises, seized nine properties and two companies, and froze multiple bank accounts. Investigators allege the network moved multi-tonne cocaine shipments from Brazil to Europe in legitimate freight.

The reported criminal-network and money-laundering claims are allegations and have not been proven in court.
