What the record says

SABC News reported on 24 September 2026 that the Hawks alleged the tender was obtained irregularly and that the company claimed to have firearm licences while using another company's firearms and a fraudulent profile. The R16 million is the reported tender value, not an established loss. The SABC report said the suspects were due in the Senwabarwana Magistrate's Court on 25 September; it did not establish that the appearance occurred or report an outcome. No conviction is asserted.
