A report attributed to Spanish authorities says two British men were arrested in an investigation into an alleged network moving cocaine from Spain to the United Kingdom. When a van encountered a roadside police control, its driver allegedly tried to flee. Officers reportedly found about 17kg of cocaine in a hidden compartment.

The report says searches the following day in Finestrat and Elche recovered more than 67kg of cocaine, bringing the total to over 84kg. Authorities reportedly also seized two vehicles with hidden compartments, about €4,000 in cash, luxury items, weapons and cannabis.
