A supplied account attributed to Ghana Police says Salifu Walid, 32, described as a Nigerien national, and Aziz Wadrago Mane, 24, described as a Burkinabè national, were arrested at a hideout in Banpanase near Mamponteng in connection with the alleged kidnapping and killing of Senegalese goalkeeper Cheikh Touré. Crime Watch Global has not located an independent police release confirming these details. The supplied arrest photograph labels the second man “Aziz Ouedraogo Amani”; that spelling differs from the supplied written account and has not been reconciled.

Investigators allege the men were part of a four-person group that posed as football scouts and used online platforms to attract victims to Ghana with promises of football opportunities. Touré's body was reportedly found at Manhyia District Hospital on 16 October 2025. The available account does not establish the precise cause of death or the roles of any individual in it.

Police reportedly continue to seek two alleged accomplices identified in the supplied account as Noukoubri Arzouma Sylviain, also called Prince Pierre, and a person identified only as Barry. Their involvement remains an allegation; no conviction is reported for anyone named here.

Crime Watch Global commends investigators' efforts to establish what happened and extends condolences to Touré's family. The arrests do not establish guilt, and no conclusions about any nationality or language community can be drawn from the suspects' reported backgrounds.
