What the record says

Action News 5 reported on 25 September 2026 that a search warrant was executed the previous Thursday at Puffs Vape, Tobacco and Beer Store on Heritage Drive. The report says investigators found more than 500 units of kratom, THC cartridges, gummies and other suspected narcotics. Mosleh, 51, and Mohamed, 18, were charged with possession of Schedule I controlled substances with intent to distribute. The report also notes kratom packaging at the scenes of two student-death investigations, but says investigators had not confirmed either cause of death; it establishes no causal link between the deaths and the smoke-shop case. Charges remain allegations.
